Don't Give Up the Ship
More recently, when I was helping Daniel set up for his junior review at MassArt, I watched a video he made where he walked around at Target, filling up carts above his head, and then just leaving them. He said it felt really great to just grab things at random and then not actually have to pay or bring home all this stupid shit he didn't need. Afterward, I thought about how I would do the same thing if I were to do it, and I decided that I would grab things that I would actually want, then I thought about the reasons for doing so. The first item I thought of would be a small, hard plastic cooler, to keep sodas and sandwiches in, something just appeals to me about that. Then I thought that I would get underwear because I had never bought my own underwear. Then that hit me harder, I am almost 24 years old and I have never bought my own underwear.
